Care of Children focuses primarily on the Care of Children Act 2004 as it replaces and reforms the Guardianship Act 1968. The book also includes the Civil Union Act 2004, the Human Assisted Reproductive Technology Act 2004, and the Status of Children Amendment Act 2004. The four new Acts are reproduced in full and discussed individually. The new provisions are dealt with in a practical and useful manner discussing how they will work together to provide a new framework for family law in the 1st century.
